Milan Basak joins Birkirkara FC

by Ayrton Galea - 16th August 2018

Birkirkara FC continued to strengthen their squad just few hours before the start of a new BOV Premier League campaign, when they have secured the services of the Serbian forward, Milan Basrak.

Basrak is twenty-three years old and he plays as a centre-forward. He is well-known for his positive spell with US Catanzaro 1929 in the Lega-Pro of Italy in Season 2016-2017. The promising forward has scored four goals in twenty-four appearances as he was a regular player for the Italian side.

Following this successful season, Basrak moved to the Super Liga of Albania to join KF Partizani Tirani, where he made four appearances and scored one goal. In the January Transfer Market, he secured another move to a top league, as he joined FK Napredak Krusevac in Serbia.

Club's Technical Director Mr. Michael Valenzia shared his views on this signing, “We are really happy to have added Milan to our squad. We worked hard to identify the striker that we needed, and we firmly believe that we have got the right man to do the job.”

“We are looking forward to the start of the new season and we would like to welcome Milan to the Club while wishing the best of luck for the season.”

He is eligible for today's match against Balzan FC.
