Three players selected with the Women National Team

by Ayrton Galea - 21st August 2018

Three Birkirkara FC players have been selected with the Women's Team for the five-day training camp in Austria. The Women's Team will have their training camp in Koessen, the same town where the men's senior national team had a seven-day training camp earlier this year.

Goalkeeper Janice Xuereb, Stephania Farrugia and Ylenia Carabott are the Birkirkara players selected. Alishia Sultana, Ann-Marie Said, Gabriella Zahra, Kim Parnis were unable to make it to this training camp due to several reasons.

This pre-season training camp is intended to aid the women's national team's preparations for their two friendly matches against Hungary at the Centenary Stadium in October. Malta will play against division one side FC Wacker Innsbruck this Thursday and against SV Angerberg two days later.

We would like to congratulate all three players while wishing the Women's Team a successful training camp.
