Cain Attard suspended

The Malta Football Association has announced that Birkirkara FC defender Cain Attard has been suspended for one match. Therefore, he is ineligible for the next match against Valletta FC on 16 September.

Attard was sent off four minutes from time in the 2-1 victory over Pieta Hotspurs FC, after he was adjudicated that he was wasting time by referee Emmanuel Grech.
