Birkirkara FC signs Petar Orlandic

Birkirkara FC has strengthened their forward line by the signing of the Montenegrin forward Petar Orlandic who has signed a one-year contract with our Club.

General Information

Petar was born on the 6 August 1990. The Montenegrin forward stands at 191cm tall and he plays as a centre-forward. During his football career, he has played in Montengro, Isreal, Serbia, Portugal and China. This is his first experience in Maltese football.

Club Career

Orlandic made his debut in the Montenegrin top-flight with FK Zeta Golubovciin in 2009. In his first spell with the Montenegrin club, he played sixty-six matches and scored twenty-four goals.

He moved to Israel in Season 2013-2014 to join Hapoel Tel Aviv FC, but he found little space as he only made six appearances while scoring one goal. He returned with Zeta in the following season, where he made sixteen appearances and scored nine goals.

Mid-way through the Season 2014-2015, he moved to Serbia to join FK Crvena Zvezda. In his two and a half years spell with the Serbian side, he made thirty appearances and scored fourteen goals.

During the last season, he was playing with CF Uniao in the second tier of Portugal where he played five matches and scored two goals. For the second part of the season, he moved to China and signed with Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard FC where he made five appearances.
