Birkirkara FC signs Muamer Svraka

Birkirkara FC began their transfer market campaign by a major signing as they have concluded the signing of former Bosnia-Herzegovina international player, Muamer Svraka. Svraka signed a contract till the end of the season.

Svraka, who is the first signing for the January Transfer Market, is thirty-years old and he can play in all positions in midfield including defensive midfielder, central midfielder as well as an offensive midfielder. He has played with the National Team of Bosnia-Herzegovina between 2011 and 2013.

He has made six appearances with the National Team and scored two goals. His first goal arrived on the 14 November 2012 in the 1-0 victory against Algeira, while his second goal was scored on the 6 February 2013 in the 3-0 victory against Slovenia.

On a club-level, he was last playing with Estonian side FC Levadia Tallin, in the same league of former Birkirkara FC player, Ellinton Morais. Have joined them in 2018, he established himself as a key-player for the Estonian side as he has made thirty-three appearances and scored thirteen goals.

Svraka started his professional career with FK Željezničar Sarajevo where he spent six years between 2008 and 2014 with a loan to FK Travnik in between during season 2009-2010. He has also played with Paykan FC in Iran, Istra 1961 in Croatia, Semen Padang in West Sumatra. In 2017, he joined FK Olimpik Sarajevo before returning to Croatia to join NK Rudeš.
