Two new signings for Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC is delighted to announce another two new signings, as the club has reached an agreement with Ahmed Alsherooqi and Jameel Sabba, both from Bahrain.

Alsherooqi is eighteen years old and he has represented Bahrain AFC U-14 Championship, AFC U-16 Championship and most recently in the AFC U-19 Championship. He has to capability of playing in all positions in the attack, but he is mostly utilised as a winger.

He is eligible to play for the Under-19's Team, and he made his debut last Tuesday in the Youths League Section A match against Mosta FC, that the Stripes won with a 4-0 score. He was included as a substitute in the first half and he left his mark by scoring one goal and set up another two.

On the other hand, Sabba is twenty-one years old and he has represented Bahrain at a Senior Team level last year. He has also represented his country at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-23's level. He plays as defender who can be utilised as a right-back or centre-back.
