Malta Under-21's National Team debut for Mbong

Birkirkara FC's forward Paul Mbong made his debut with the Under-21's National Team yesterday when he was included as a substitute in the 2-1 victory over Turkmenistan played yesterday evening.

This debut rounds off a memorable month for the seventeen-year-old player after he made his debut with the Birkirkara FC's Senior Team earlier this month. Mbong was included as a late substitute in the BOV Premier League match against Tarxien Rainbows FC played on the 8 March that the Stripes won with a 2-0 score.

Mbong is a regular player for the Under-19's Team and during this season he made thirteen appearances so far.
