UWCL squad announced

Birkirkara FC Women's Team Coach Melania Bajada has selected twenty players that will be travelling to Lithuania for the UEFA Women's Champions League Group 10 Qualifying Round that will be played between the 7 and 13 August.

The team led by Coach Melania Bajada is composed of a mixture of experienced players and young players. Last year's league's top scorer Kailey Willis together with Mariah Cardona, Kaycee Micallef, and Veronique Mifsud are all eligible to play in this competition for the first time after missing last year's as they were all under the sixteen years of age.

The squad also includes the two signings - Ylenia Carabott and Simone Buttigieg with the latter has been registered on time to be eligible to make her return in the UEFA Women's League with our club.

The contingent, who is supported by SportMalta for this competition, will be leaving Malta on Monday early morning at 02:00 with a direct flight to Latvia. The contingent will then take a bus to Kaunas, Lithuania where the contingent will be staying.
