Loza Abera wins best player for November & December

Birkirkara FC and Ethiopia National Team forward Loza Abera has been rewarded for her electrifying performances as she clinched the awards of the BOV Female Player of the Month for November and December 2019.

The twenty-two-year-old forward officially joined the club in the last week of September and since her arrival, she took the Maltese female football scene by storm. 

She scored an incredible nineteen goals in eight matches by the end of December. She also was the protagonist in the BOV Women's Super Cup by scoring a hat-trick in the comfortable 5-0 victory against Mgarr United FC. 

Delightful Loza shared her views following winning this aways, "I am very happy and these awards bring a lot of satisfaction. I hope that I can continue scoring goals and helping the team."

She added, "I want to thank my Coach, Melania Bajada, and all of my team-mates and we hope to continue winning together."

Abera joined our club following a successful spell with Adama City who won the Ethiopian Championship last season while she finished the season as the league's top scorer for a record fourth consecutive time.
