Match Preview | Birkirkara FC Vs. Sliema Wanderers FC

by Clayton Schembri - 19th February 2021

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to register their second consecutive victory in the BOV Premier League, when they take on Sliema Wanderers FC in an another tough match tomorrow afternoon at the National Stadium (Kick-Off: 14:00).

This shall be our second encounter in three days and one that is being looked at with the utmost respect and determination as ever.

On the other hand, Sliema were held to a draw in their last outing against Gudja United.

With just a single point separating the two clubs in the standings, this proves that tomorrow's match shall be a keenly contested affair.

The Stripes have won eleven matches, drawn three and lost only once against leaders Hamrun Spartans last weekend from their last fifteen outings. On the other hand, The Blues need a win in order to keep their hopes of finishing in the top four positions alive.

Coach Andre Paus must do without the services of Enrico Pepe, as the central defender is suspended having picked up his fourth caution against Valletta last time out.

Since we can't go to the stadium due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are encouraging our supporters to donate the match-ticket money of €8 through Revolut to our club`s number 99293172. Also, other donations are accepted. Thanks for your support!

The game will be shown live on TSN.

Come on Stripes!!
