Match Preview | Birkirkara FC Vs. Floriana FC

by Clayton Schembri - 26th February 2021

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to return to winning ways and keep their fourth place position in the BOV Premier League, when they take on Floriana FC tomorrow afternoon in a match that will be played at the National Stadium (Kick Off – 14:00).

The Stripes have been one of the most consistent sides in the BOV Premier League for the last three months, that saw them winning ten matches, while sharing the spoils in the other four matches and suffering one defeat against leaders Hamrun Spartans FC from their last fifteen outings.

Following last weekend's results, the Stripes remained in fourth position, one point ahead of Sliema Wanderers and eight points behind Gzira United.

On the other hand, Floriana are occupying ninth place on twenty-six points. The Greens registered two wins, a draw and a defeat from their last four outings.

Coach Andre Paus must do without defender Oscar Mattias Carniello, who was sent off during the last match against Sliema Wanderers.

Since we can`t go to the stadium due the COVID-19 restrictions, we are encouraging our supporters to donate the match-ticket money of €8 through Revolut to our club`s number 99293172. Also, other donations are accepted. Thanks for your support!

Come on Stripes!!
