Jacopo Camilli was born on 5 August, 1986 and the Italian Striker joined Birkirkara FC in the 2010 Summer Transfer Market.
Jacopo started his football career in 1996 with Nuova Tor Tre Teste, where he gained an important and entertaining experience with the ball at his feet. The desire to play football started to increase day by day. In fact he moved to Lodi, where Jacopo went through the whole rigmarole of the youth sector, up to the senior team where he played 7 games and he managed to score 4 goals.
In the 2010 Summer Transfer Market, Jacopo signed a two year contract with ‘The Stripes'. He was available to play in the second leg of the first round of the Champions League match against Santa Coloma which was played on 6 July 2010 but he was not utilised. After this match he was loaned out for one year to an Italian team, Stella Polare. He returned to Birkirkara the following year, in the summer of 2011. His style of play is being compared to that of Michael Galea.
