Floriana stand in Birkirkara's path

by Matthaeus Grasso - 23rd October 2009

On Saturday at 17.00, Floriana will be looking to hault Birkirkara's current positive form when both sides meet at the Ta'Qali National Stadium.

After the surprise victory achieved by Hibernians against title favourites Valletta, it would be imperative for the boys in red & yellow stripes to put in a positive performance which would ensure the all-important three points come the end of the match.

For this encounter, Birkirkara will be missing the services of full-back Thomas Paris, who received his marching orders against Hibs. On the other hand, Spanish goalkeeper Jorge Mora will be available for selection after serving a two-match ban for unprofessional behaviour against Hamrun S.
