Clash between two big rivals

by Matthaeus Grasso - 19th December 2009

On Saturday, at the Ta'Qali National Stadium at 16.00, Birkirkara will be facing the challenge of leaders Valletta, in what promises to be a highly-entertaining and tight match.

The two most in-form sides of the Premier League, will surely be giving their best in order to fight for that prestigious top spot in Malta's highest division.

Birkirkara will be missing the services of midfielder Paul Fenech and defender Jospeh Zerafa for this match, as they will be both serving a one-match ban. Angus Buhagiar will need to undergo last minute fitness tests to deem whether he's fit enough to feature in this match. On the other hand, Karl Pulo will be returning from injury, and should be available in Paul Zammit's squad.

There is surely no need for me to stress the importance of the support that each and every one of you should give to our squad. Make sure that you come to the stadium with flags, shirts, maflers and all those other things which show your true pride of being a Birkirkara FC supporter.

See you there!
