Glorious chance for Birkirkara to go first

by Matthaeus Grasso - 8th January 2010

Birkirkara have a very relishing opportunity to go top of the league, as on Saturday they face relegation contenders Dingli S. After Friday's 2-2 draw achieved by Hibernians against the current leaders, three points for our side would mean that the 'Yellows' from Valley Road reach the 'Yellows' from Qormi.

Despite appearing to be a relatively easy side on paper, the boys from Dingli will surely be doing their best to cause an upset when both sides meet at the Ta' Qali National Stadium at 14.00.

Coach Mr.Paul Zammit will have to do without the services of Angus Buhagiar and George Mallia who are ruled out of contention due to injury, whilst Shaun Bajada conceded the fourth yellow card against Hamrun S., and will therefore be suspended for this match.

With our team having such a good chance to improve his fortunes in this game, it is your job as Birkirkara supporters, to come to the stadium in huge numbers and to bring along with you your beloved family members and friends in order to support our boys throughout the ninety minutes.

The club will also be very grateful to you if you bring along flags, scarves, banners and all the material that shows your through pride and passion of being a Birkirkara supporter.

See you!
