Birkirkara FC takes part in McHappy Day

On Saturday 20th November, known as 'World Children's Day' the players of the senior team of Birkirkara FC, accompanied by the Head Coach, Mr Paul Zammit and Assistant Coach Branko Nisevic took part in the "McHappy Day" events organised by the Club's main sponsor McDonald's.

The players gave their part by preparing and serving food at the McDonald's outlet in the Birkirkara Football Club premises. They also took part in the fun activities that were organised for the children, and were available for photographs.

A total of €24,500 was collected through sales on the day and also through different fundraising events which were organised. The money will be directly handed to Mr. Anthony Galea, Principal of 'Dun Manwel Attard Young Adult Education Resource Centr'e, during a presentation which will be taking place during the month of December. These collected funds will be used to support the educational services at 'Dun Manwel Attard Young Adult Education Resource Centre', aimed at improving the quality for the students of the school.
