Last Saturday Birkirkara played the third and final match for the month of August and following is a short round up of this month.

In this month Birkirkara played three matches, two of them in the Premier League with the other one being a friendly match against St. Patricks.

Matches

In the first match of August which was played on the 5 August, Birkirkara were beaten by St. Patricks with a score of 4-3 after Birkirkara were having a comfortable 3-1 lead. This friendly match was organized to see more of the Serbian trailist Bojan Mamic, who was not offered a contract and instead joined Mqabba.

In the second match of the month and the first match of the Premier League Birkirkara opened in style as they emerged as winners against Qormi with a 2-0 score.

Birkirkara picked up another three points in the second match of the league when this Birkirkara defeated Mosta with a 3-1 score.

Team Statistics

In these first two matches of the Premier League Birkirkara utilised 15 players. Moises Avila Perez is the current top scorer with three goals after two matches while Trevor Cilia was voted twice as the man of the match.

So far Birkirkara conceded five yellow cards and one red card. One penalty was given in favour while no penalties were given against.
