Rodrigo Pereira's contract terminated

Brazilian defender Rodrigo Pereira's contract has been terminated by Birkirkara F.C.

He had agreed terms and signed a one year contract on Thursday 28 July. He made his debut as a Birkirkara FC registered player one day later, on Friday 29 July, in the comfortable win registered over Vittoriosa with a 5-1 score. Rodrigo played all the 90 minutes and had a solid performance.

In his adventure with our Club he made fourteen appearance, and thirteen of them were in the Premier League and one in the FA Trophy where 'The Stripes' advanced to the fourth round thanks to a comfortable 4-0 win.in the 2-2 draw against Mqabba in a match which was played on 16 September where he scored the second goal for Birkirkara. His second goal arrived thanks to a direct freekick against Marsaxlokk in the 2-1 win in a match which was played on the 30 September 2011.

Rodrigo is the second foreigner to be leave Birkirkara F.C. this month after Jorge Mora was released due to personal reasons.
