by Ayrton Galea - 23rd April 2012

Tomorrow evening, Birkirkara FC will be involved in the Quarter Finals of the Women's Knock-Out competition, when they face Gozo FC.

Birkirkara, who are still fresh from being crowned unbeaten champions of the Women's First Division League, ended their Premier League commitments with a 2-2 draw against Hibernians which saw them completing the eighteen league matches unbeaten.

On the other hand, Gozo ended the league in the 4th place with 29 points as they registered nine wins, drew twice and were defeated seven times. They ended their League commitments on a good note as in the last match of the league, they drew 2-2 with Hibernians.

These two teams met three times in the league with all the three matches won by Birkirkara with scores of 4-0, 7-0 and 4-2 respectively.

If Birkirkara make it to the next round they will face either Melita or Hibernians in the Semi Finals, on 1st May.

The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and it is scheduled to kick-off at 18:00.

Come on the Stripes!
