Stripes seek to return on track

by Ayrton Galea - 22nd September 2016

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to return to winning ways following last Sunday's defeat against Sliema Wanderers. However, their task is anything than easy as this evening they will face Mosta FC.

The two teams had contrasting results last weekend. The Stripes fell for their first defeat with a 2-1 score against Sliema Wanderers, while Mosta registered their first win by beating Gzira United with 1-0, after three consecutive defeats.

Both teams will be unable to field their best formation as Christian Bubalovic for Birkirkara is still recovering from a knee injury, while Njongo Priso is suspended for the Blues.

The match will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium and will kick off at 20:15.

Come on the Stripes!
