Four Birkirkara FC players nominated in MFA Awards 2017

Senior Team's Captain Gareth Sciberras and Joseph Zerafa have been nominated for the MFA Footballer of the Year while Women's Team Captain Stephania Farrugia and defender Ann-Marie Said have been nominated for the BOV Women's League Best Player in the MFA Awards 2017.

The nominees have been announced ahead of the 2017 MFA Awards, which is going to be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Gareth Sciberras and Joseph Zerafa are nominated for the MFA Footballer of the Year Award, the most coveted individual honour in Maltese football, with the other three contenders are Andrei Agius, Bjorn Kristensen and Paul Fenech.

On the other hand, Stephania Farrugia and Ann-Marie Said are two out of the three nominees for the BOV Women's League Best Player. The other nominee is Hibernians FC's player, Shona Zammit.
