Birkirkara to face Qormi

by Ayrton Galea - 21st November 2010

Today afternoon the reigning champions Birkirkara will be involved in their 8th Premier League match as The Stripes will face Qormi.

Birkirkara are not going through their best form as the yellow-reds have gone almost two months without a win, as their last win was on the 24th September against Hibernians with a 2-1 result thanks to a goal by Terence Vella and another late goal by Emiliano Lattes.

Today, Birkirkara need to bounce back from four consecutive matches without a win, as they were held in a 2-2 draw against current leaders Valletta, they were beaten by Marsaxlokk with a 5-2 score line and they were held in a 1-1 draw against Hamrun and Vittoriosa respectively.

Once again, like all the other Premier League matches played so far, Birkirkara are not in their full strength as Rowen Muscat and Trevor Cilia are still doubtful for today's game.

The match will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium located in Hamrun and it will start at 16:15. Transport is available from Valley road as usual and it will leave at 15:15.

Come on the Stripes!
