Birkirkara face Hamrun in Fourth Round of FA Trophy

by Ayrton Galea - 21st January 2012

Birkirkara will be aiming to make it to the quarter finals of the FA Trophy by overcoming the challenge of Hamrun Spartans in the fourth round of this competition this Sunday.

In third round, Birkirkara found no difficulty to eliminate Vittoriosa Stars with a comfortable 4-0 score, while Hamrun eliminated Dingli Swallows with a 3-1 score.

Birkirkara faced Hamrun Spartans only once this season, when they beat them 4-0 in the first round of the Premiere League.

Birkirkara will be without the services of Shola Shodiya who is still recovering from a hamstring injury. The latest acquisition, Regillio Nooitmeer, is also unavailable as he is not fully fit for the match.

The match will be played at the Hibernians Stadium and is scheduled to kick-off at 16:00. Transport from Valley Road is available and it will leave at 15:00.

Come on the Stripes!
