Philip Schranz joins Birkirkara FC

by Ivan Mizzi - 11th August 2015

Goalkeeper Philip Schranz has just signed a five year contract with Birkirkara FC, which seals his transfer on a permanent basis from Melita FC.

Philip is a product of the Melita FC's Youth Nursery, and at eighteen years of age he has already proven to be one of the upcoming goalkeepers on the local scene. Philip has already made fifty appearances with Melita's senior team. Philip has been also been called to the Under-19's National Team, despite still waiting to make his debut.

After Birkirkara FC renewed contracts of its Academy products, that is Joseph Zerafa, Rowen Muscat and Ryan Camenzuli, and Maltese National Team players namely Justin Haber and Paul Fenech, the Club once again showed faith in in Maltese talent with the signing of Schranz.

We would like to welcome Philip to the Club, while wishing him all the best of luck.
