Paul Zammit returns as Stripes search first victory

by Ayrton Galea - 9th September 2017

Coach Mr. Paul Zammit will be making his return as the Birkirkara Coach this evening, as the Stripes will be all-out to register the first victory in the BOV Premier League when they take on Mosta FC.

The international break proved to be a very important period for the Stripes, as they re-appointed Coach Paul Zammit while they were renewed the contract of Nikola Vukanac and Mislav Andelkovic while they signed Congolese defender Landry Mulemo.

The Stripes are still searching for the first victory following a disappointing start that saw them sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw against Floriana FC and suffering a 2-0 disappointing defeat against Gzira United FC.

On the other hand, Mosta had contrasting results so far. Despite a satisfactory performance, they were defeated by Valletta FC with a narrow 1-0 score in the first match, but they registered their first victory with a 3-1 score against Lija Athletics FC.

The match will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium and it will kick off at 20:15. Transport from Valley Road is available for the price of just €3 and it will leave at 19:15.

Come on the Stripes!
