Transfer Market Round-Up

The summer transfer market in Malta closed last night and Birkirkara FC were among the most active teams in this transfer market by signing no less than twelve new players.

The Stripes revamped their squad in the first summer transfer market under the helm of Coach Mr. Paul Zammit since he was re-appointed at the helm of the team last September. In fact, only two new foreigners were retained from last season namely goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski and Mislav Andelkov.

New Signings

The Stripes signed twelve new players, in which nine are foreigners while the other three are Maltese. The Maltese players were the well-experience Paul Fenech and Michael Mifsud as well as promising youngster Myles Beerman.

New Contacts

Birkirkara FC retained just two foreigners from last season namely goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski and Mislav Andelkovic, with the latter being appointed as the new club's captain. The Club also gave three Youth Academy products their first contract.
