Match Preview | Birkirkara FC Vs. Valletta FC

by Clayton Schembri - 16th February 2021

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they take on Valletta FC tomorrow evening in a match from the BOV Premier League that will be played at the National Stadium (Kick-Off: 18:30). A victory for the Stripes will lift them to the fourth place.

The rivalry that dominated the Maltese football in the late 1990's and for most of the twenty-first century so far will be renewed this afternoon, when the most two successful clubs in the last twenty years will go head to head in what promises to be another big fixture in Maltese football.

The Stripes, who lost just once in their last fourteen matches in all competitions, are in the fifth position on thirty-four points, just two points under Sliema Wanderers, but with a game in hand.

On the other hand, Valletta are occupying the seventh place with twenty-seven points. The Citizens registered a win, a draw and two defeats from their last four outings.

Coach Andre Paus welcomes back Oscar Mattias Carniello and Federico Falcone from a one-match suspension.

Since we can`t go to the stadium due the COVID-19 restrictions, we are encouraging our supporters to donate the match-ticket money of €8 through Revolut to our club`s number 99293172. Also, other donations are accepted. Thanks for your support!

Come on the Stripes!!
