Birkirkara gained three precious in the build-up to two of the most important games of the season (vs. Qormi and vs. Valletta), thanks to a very comfortable 4-1 win over Msida St. Joseph.

Despite going behind from as early as the fourth minute due to a goal by Emiliano Lattes, Birkirkara were brave enough to react and ended the match on such a positive note.

Trevor Cilia started Birkirkara's comeback as his rising shot managed to beat brave Msida goalkeeper Bartolo. Our team continued to be by far the better side, but was unlucky not to score on more than just one occasion. The first half ended 1-1.

Thanks to some lovely work with the ball, and a cool finish, Birkirkara's Sylvano Comvalius managed to put our side ahead for the first time in the match, nine minutes from the restart.

With Msida already out of any ideas on how they can react to Birkirkara's comeback, on the 80th minute, a low cross by Michael Galea found an unmarked Shaun Bajada, who had the easiest of tasks in putting the ball in the empty net.

Ten minutes later, the 'Stripes' sealed the story of this one-sided match with a brilliant first-time volley from inside the penalty area. All that was left in this match was for the Birkirkara ultras and supporters to applaud their players off the pitch after such a brilliant performance.
