Birkirkara to face Tarxien Rainbows today

by Ayrton Galea - 28th November 2010

This afternoon Birkirkara will be involved in their last match of the Premier League first round when they face a tricky test against in-form Tarxien Rainbows.

Surely, this will not be an easy task for 'The Stripes' as Tarxien Rainbows are showing their potential and they deserve to be in the second place.

Last match saw both team emerge as winners with an identical score as Tarxien Rainbows won the south derby against Hibernians and Birkirkara beat Qormi with a 2-0 result.

Once again for the 9th time in this Premier League, Birkirkara will be not in full strength as besides Esequiel Lovizon, Trevor Cilia and Nikola Vukanac are still very doubtful for today's match.

Patrick Borg yesterday said, "The supporters for us are something special", and so it is everyone's duty to come and support the team from the first till the final whistle.

The match will be played at the Hibs ground in Corradino and it is scheduled to start at 16:00, Transport from Valley Road will leave at 15:00

Come on the Stripes!
