Two players selected with Women U16 National Team

Two Birkirkara FC Youth Academy players namely Kaycee Micallef and Veronique Mifsud were selected with the Women Under-16's Team for the UEFA Women's U-16 Development tournament, which will be played between the 29 January and the 2 February.

Women U19: Birkirkara FC 11-0 Sirens FC

Birkirkara Women Under-19's Team strengthened their second place in the Women Under-19's League, when they defeated Sirens FC with an 11-0 score in a one-sided match.

Five Birkirkara FC Academy players selected with Malta U19

Five Birkirkara FC Youth Academy players have been selected with the Under-19's National Team, in preparation of the Caput Mondi Tournament, which is going to be held between the 18 and the 23 February 2018.

Seven Youth Academy Products in yesterday's line-up

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy has always believed in the importance of having its players make it to the Seniors Team. Yesterday's match against Mosta FC was a showcase of this mentality, as the Stripes had no less than seven Academy products including five Under-19's Team players in the eighteen-man squad. Neil Micallef and Zack Cassar both made their debut in the BOV Premier League.

Women U19: Birkirkara FC 5-1 Gozo FC

Birkirkara FC Women Under-19's Team moved to the second place in the league when they defeated Gozo FC with a 5-1 score. Captain Sarah Urpani scored a brace while Emma Bonnici, Mariah Sciberras and Samantha Zarb scored a goal each.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team suffered the first defeat in the Under-17's League Section A, when St. Andrew's scored two goals in the second half to register a 2-0 victory.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team returned to winning ways and strengthened their position on top of the Under-17's League, as a penalty by Paul Mbong was enough to beat Mosta FC with a narrow 1-0 score.

Marlene Christmas Festival 2017

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy would like to thank everyone involved for another successful edition of the Marlene Christmas Festival. The festival was the 27th edition and this year's edition saw the participation of the boys Under-8's, Under-9's, Under-10's, Under-11's, Under-12's and Under-13's.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team were eliminated from the Under-17's Knock-Out when they suffered a disappointing 5-0 defeat against St. Andrew's FC. All five goals were conceded at the second half, following a goal-less score at the break.

Birkirkara FC Women Under-19's Team shared the spoils with Raiders FC on Sunday Morning, as Veronique Mifsud scored four minutes on the added time of the second half to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw.

Marlene Christmas Festival 2017

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy will be holding the Marlene Christmas Festival 2017, on the 20, 21 and 23 December 2017, at its Training Centre in Birkirkara. This is the 27th edition of this Festival, making it one of the oldest on the island.
