Birkirkara face Hibernians in the Premier League

by Ayrton Galea - 24th September 2010

This evening , Birkirkara will be undergoing another difficult test, as in the only match for today, they will be involved in their third Premier League when they face the in-form Hibernians.

After beating Sliema Wanderers with an impressive 4-1 result which was achieved thanks to a five star performance by all the team, last Saturday the 'Yellow-Reds' failed to grab any points as they were beaten 2-0 by Floriana, thanks to a disappointing performance.

On the other hand, Hibernians moral is sky high as they are still unbeaten after two matches, as in their first match they beat Floriana with a 3-1 score line, while in the second match they faced Valletta and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Paul Fenech, Patrick Borg and Shaun Bajada will be back in the team, after they were suspended for two matches each, but Nikola Vukanac is still ruled out due to being suspended. Esequiel Lovizon, Keith Fenech and Alan Tabone are still recovering from injuries.

The match will start at 19:30 and it will be played in the National Stadium. Transport from Valley Road will be available and will leave at 18:30.

Come on the Stripes!
