Birkirkara FC vs Hibernians FC this afternoon

by Ayrton Galea - 18th December 2010

Birkirkara will be aiming for another win this afternoon when they will face a tricky test against Hibernians.

Last Monday, both teams were in action. Birkirkara returned to winning ways when they managed to beat Floriana with a solitary goal by Patrick Borg fifteen minutes from the end. On the other hand, Hibernians extend their negative run as they were beaten by Valletta with a 2-0 score line.

The yellow-reds will be far from full-strength as once again a big amount of players are ruled-out. Ryan Harding, Terence Vella and Trevor Cilia are all ruled out injured while Nikola Vukanac is still doubtful for today's game. Joseph Zerafa and Andrew Decesare should be available for Mr. Zammit selection.

Birkirkara are currently fourth with seventeen points, two less than Hamrun Spartans, however 'The Stripes' have a game in hand.

Hibernians are second last with only eight points from eleven matches and they will be eager to return to the winning ways.

The match will be played at the National Stadium and will commence at 16:00. Transport from Valley Road leaves at 15:00.

Come on the Stripes!
