10 Birkirkara players called to Maltese provisional squads

Ten Birkirkara players were called to the provisional National squads. Six were called with the senior squad and four with the Under 21 squad.

Six players, that is Justin Haber, Edward Herrera, Paul Fenech, Rowen Muscat, Gareth Sciberras and Terence Vella were called with the senior team by Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin, for the two matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup against Denmark and Bulgaria which are scheduled to be played on the 6 and 10 September respectively.

Another four players, namely Ryan Camenzuli, Ryan Scicluna, Zach Muscat and the Club's latest signing Daniel Zerafa were called to the National Under 21 side by Coach Mr. Ray Farrugia for the UEFA Under 21 Championship qualifiers against Turkey and Greece. The two matches are scheduled to be played on the 5 and 10 September respectively.
