Jhonnattann Benites back in the squad

by Ivan Mizzi - 10th September 2013

Jhonnattann Benites has returned to training with the Senior Squad, after his arrival back in Malta earlier this week.

Jhonnattann needs no introduction as last season he established himself as one of the Birkirkara's best foreigners. The Brazilian forward netted no less than fourteen goals while he was voted the BOV Player of match for an impressive eleven times. Benites played a key role for the Stripes who won the fourth league in their history on the 11 May 2013.

This is certainly another dose of strength in the powerful Birkirkara forward line as he will join the forward foreigner trio namely Shola Shodiya, Demba Toure and Frank Temile besides Maltese duo Terence Vella and Kurt Zammit.

Benites will be the Club's sixth foreigner for this season as besides Shola Shodiya, Demba Toure and Frank Temile, they also have Matheus Bissi and Alejandro Mendoza on their books.

We would like to welcome back Jhonnattann while wishing him all the best of luck with our Club.
