Birkirkara FC contingent in Hungary

This morning, a contingent made up of 32 persons from Birkirkara FC, left from Malta to Hungary to play the first leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. The contingent is lead by Club's Treasurer Ivan Mizzi, and is made up of committee members, players, technical and supporting staff.

On Monday, 21 June, Birkirkara were drawn to play against the strong Hungarian side of DiósgyőriVTK.

The first leg will be played this Thursday at the Nagyerdei Stadion. On the other hand, Birkirkara will host Diósgyőri VTK on Thursday, 10 July.

The contingent is made up of the following players and technical staff:

Goalkeepers: Adrian Sanchez, Ini Akpan, Reuben Gauci.

Defenders: Edward Herrera, Zach Muscat, Matheus Bissi, Alejandro Mendoza, Nikola Vukanac, Joseph Zerafa, Ryan Camenzuli.

Midfielders: Antoine Borg, Edmond Agius, Paul Fenech, Gareth Sciberras, Ryan Scicluna, Rafael Ledesma.

Forwards: Kurt Zammit, Terence Vella, Leighton Grech.

Technical Staff: Mr. Paul Zammit, Mr. Peter Pullicino, Mr. Simon Grech, Mr. Vincenzo Cestaro, Mr. Aaron Saliba, Mr. John Galea, Mr. Mark Cipriott, Mr. Mark Mifsud.
