Third week of training

Birkirkara will be involved in their third week of training this week. This will be the final week without involvements as on Monday they will be playing their first match of the season in the Euro Challenge Cup.

Birkirkara will be involved in the first competition of the season, the Euro Challenge Cup. On Monday 20th June, 'The Stripes' shall play their first game of the competition.

Payment of membership for Season 2011- 2012

Due to various postings on the web, the committee would like to clarify that members who would like to pay their membership may do so only after the annual general meeting scheduled for the 9th June 2011. Members cannot pay a membership for this season and this according to the statute. They may only do so within the first 3 months of the current season.

Birkirkara FC appoints Mr Patrick Curmi as Senior Coach

Today Birkirkara FC committee have appointed Mr Patrick Curmi as their new senior coach for the next two seasons. Mr Patrick Curmi will start immediately working on the selection of both local and foreign players to form part of Birkirkara FC squad for Season 2011 / 2012. Birkirkara FC will start preparation for the Euro Cup and 1st Round of the Europa League very shortly.

Club's decisions about resignations and contracts

Birkirkara FC committee today received the letters of resignation of Mr Joe Abela as Technical Advisor, and Mr Joe B Grech as Team Manager. In their letters they expressed their deep regret over what happened in the semi-final match, when in the last substitution, the team ended playing with five foreign players. They explained that though it was a genuine mistake, they still felt responsible and thatshould resign.

Birkirkara take on Floriana in Semi Final

On Sunday afternoon Birkirkara will be involved in one of the most important matches this season, the Semi Final of the U*BET FA Trophy, and they will be facing Floriana.
