Two players named in the Under-19's National Team

Two Birkirkara FC players, defender Beppe Jaccarini and forward, Kurt Zammit were named in the Under-19's Maltese Team that is going to travel to Catania to play three friendly matches, between Friday 29 August and Wednesday 3 September.

Never-say-die Birkirkara FC clinched their third win on the trot in the BOV Premier League, when Paul Fenech's goal deep into stoppage time handed them a narrow 1-0 victory over the well-organised Naxxar Lions FC.

Five players named in the Maltese National Team

Five Birkirkara FC players were named in the provisional squad of the Maltese National Team led by Mr. Pietro Ghedin for the friendly match against Slovakia which is going to be played on the 4 September. From then, the contingent will travel to Croatia for the first match of group H of the Euro Championship 2016.

Two Birkirkara FC players namely Ryan Camenzuli and Antoine Borg were named in the provisional squad of the Maltese Under-21's Team led by Mr. Silvio Vella for the last match of UEFA Under-21's Euro Championship in Group H against Turkey which will be played on the 5 September at the National Stadium.

Determined Grech hoping to leave his mark

Twenty-four year old Leighton Grech is determined to leave his mark with Birkirkara FC, since returning to our Club after spending the last two seasons on loan with Qormi. Grech had a brilliant start with our Club and during yesterday's 4-0 victory over Zebbug Rangers FC, Leighton was voted as the BOV Player of the Match. We talked with the speedy winger following his superb performance.

Matheus Bissi extends his stay

Brazilian defender Matheus Bissi has extended his contract with Birkirkara FC with another two years. The signing of the new contract means that Bissi will remain a Birkirkara player until the end of 2015-2016 season.
