Under 15s' Promotion Hopes Dashed Out After Draw With Zebbug

Birkirkara Under 15's flailing hopes of regaining second place in the table, which would mean promotion to Section A, were given a deadly blow when they only managed a 1-1 draw with Zebbug Rangers at the Rabat Ground. With Qormi winning their own game, they are now out of the Stripes' reach. Once again Coach Mr Carmel Micallef had a headache trying to assemble a competitive starting eleven, having to play an outfield player in goal for the second consecutive day.

Women's Team to start Knock-out commitments

Birkirkara Women's Team won the Championship in a dramatic way in their last league fixture against Mosta. The confirmed champions will now turn their focus on the Women's Knock-out, as their commitments will start tomorrow evening, when they will be involved in a match against Pembroke.

Lottery winner

Joe Muscat was the lucky winner of the lottery held during last Saturday's match. The prize was a flat screen television set, kindly donated by JM Micallef, Birkirkirkara. Committee member Nicholas Grima presented Mr. Muscat with the prize at the Clubhouse.

Junior Champions League Organised by the Nursery

Following previous success, Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery will be organising the Junior Champions league this Satruday 18th March at Infetti. This event will be open for children in age groups from Under 5 to Under 15, with the younger two age groups playing 3-a-side and the rest on a 5-a-side basis. Each game will last 10 minutes and teams will be split into groups an will be named after top european clubs as part of the fun. Teams will be formed and fixtures will be issued there and then, according to the number of participants.

Birkirkara Nursery Summer School

Once again, the Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery will be hosting the Summer School, which will commence on July the 2nd and will come to an end on the 1st of August. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions for girls will also be held on Wednesdays.

Champions at Eurosport this Saturday

Birkirkara FC's Senior team, champions of this year's Premier League, and the Women's team, champions of the First Division League, will be at Eurosport Birkirkara, this Saturday between 10.00 and 12.00 together with the League Cups.

Birkirkara U16 Girls advance to final

Birkirkara Under 16's Girls team advanced to the final of the Under 16's Knock-out competition when the Stripes confirmed their potential by performing a fine performance to outclass league's runners-up Pembroke with a 4-0 score in a match that was played on Sunday morning.

Birkirkara crowned Champions of Malta

Birkirkara finally did it! Birkirkara are the new BOV Premier League champions as the indomitable Stripes emerged as winners with a 3-1 score against Hibernians in the title-decider played on Saturday afternoon.

Eurosport in collaboration with Birkirkara FC are giving away tickets for the North Stand for tomorrow's match against Hibernians, with purchases of 50 Euros and over.

Latest Update about tomorrow's match

As announced already, Birkirkara supporters will be hosted in the West A Enclosure side, and the North Stand (Curva). Tickets to the West A Enclosure side were sold out after 45 minutes.

Birkirkara eliminated by Hibernians in U19 Knock-out

Birkirkara suffered the biggest defeat of the season when they were trashed by Hibernians in the Youths' Knockout with an 8-2 score.
