Emiliano Lattes talks about the league opening match

Following the first match of the Premier League in which our side managed to overcome the challenge of Sliema Wanderers with an impressive 4-1 win, we decided to interview a player who gave an excellent performance and managed to put his name on the scorers list with the 4th and final goal for 'The Stripes', Emiliano Lattes. Emiliano was already interviewed by the official website and his wishes were to integrate more with his squad so that he can perform much better and, this was exactly what happened yesterday as Lattes' performance was a five star one. The first question that Emiliano answered was if there was an extra motivation in them knowing that they had to make an extra effort due the absence of several players from the squad. Lattes replied, "We knew that we were not in our full force, but sincerely our motivation is always the same. We're playing for Birkirkara, the current champions and we want to make sure to honour the shirt" Then, we could not help but ask Emiliano about his feelings after this great performance and his first goal with the yellow and red shirt, and his answer was, "I am very satisfied with my performance and yes, I'm very happy that I managed to score but the most important thing is that we managed to take the maximum points and this makes me happier" Finally, Emiliano Lattes has a message for you, the Birkirkara supporters as he concluded, "I want to thank all the supporters for your support and for the way you make us feel. You are all great!"
