The MFA Disciplinary Commissioner has announced that Spanish striker Moises Avila Perez will be suspended for two matches. Moises collected his fourth yellow card following his celebrations against Valletta. Apparently, the MFA Disciplinary Board felt that the player should be suspended for another match for the same celebrations.

In what probably could be considered as one of the best matches of this season, Birkirkara moved third, on level points with Floriana, when yesterday evening they beat the same Floriana with a 3-1 score.

The MFA has announced that the Championship Pool match between Birkirkara against Floriana, which was scheduled to be played last Saturday but was postponed due to bad weather, will be played this Wednesday, 14 March. The match will be played at the National Stadium and kick-off time is at 18:00.

Supporters Get-together

The Birkirkara FC Supporters Sub-Committee, would like to invite all the Club's supporters to a get together at the Club's hall (on top of the McDonald's restaurant) on Friday, 16 March, from 19:30 onwards.

Today's matches postponed

The MFA has announced that today's matches programme, including the Birkirkara vs Floriana fixture, has been postponed due to the inclement weather that has hit the Maltese islands.
