Protest regarding Tarxien match not Upheld

The Protests Board of the MFA has not upheld Birkirkara FC's protest, in relation to the match that was played on the 6th of November 2011, against Tarxien Rainbows. Birkirkara FC had lodged a protest that the fact that in the 66th minute of play, there were two balls on the pitch, when Tarxien scored their third goal, constituted a technial mistake.

MFA Disciplina​ry Commission​er's Decisions

The MFA Disciplinnary Commissioner has announced that Moises Avila Perez was suspended for two matches while Paul Fenech and Shaun Bajada were suspended for one match each. This means that all three will be ruled out against Hibernians, while Moises Avila Perez will also miss the match against Mqabba.

Training Schedule for the week

Birkirkara disappointed for the second time in a week, as this time they were held in a goal-less draw by Mosta. This week, with several players ruled out due to injury or suspension, 'The Stripes' will face a difficult test against Hibernians.

Hearing of protest continues next Tuesday

Yesterday the MFA Council took a decision with regards to the technicality that was referred to it by the Protest Board. The issue revolved around whether the club's delegate could be assisted by a lawyer, or whether the club's council member could represent the club in the hearing of the protest. The council decided against both. This means that only the the club's delegate, without legal assistance, can represent the club during the hearing.

Annual Christmas Dinner Buffet

Birkirkara FC, through its Supporters Sub-Committee, would like to invite all the Club's supporters to the Annual Christmas Dinner Buffet which will be held at 'The Cresent Hall' of the 'Radisson Blu Resort Hotel & Spa Golden Sands', on Saturday, 17 December from 20:00 onwards.

Birkirkara drawn against Vittoriosa Stars

Birkirkara FC were drawn to play against Vittoriosa Stars in the third round of the U*BET FA Trophy. The draws were held during a press conference held today at the MFA's Centenary Hall, at Ta' Qali.

Birkirkara dissapoints and beaten by 10 men Qormi

Birkirkara suffered what could be described the most disappointing defeat so far in the current league campaign, when they were beaten by 10 men Qormi. The latter ironically enough, managed to score twice after they had a player sent off to emerge as winners with a score of 2-0.

Birkirkara FC in Mc Happy Day

Yesterday morning, the Birkirkara FC players and technical staff were at the Mc Donald's restaurant in the Club's premises to help with the Mc Happy Day which has become a calender event for our Club's main sponsor, Mc Donald's.

Alexandar Canovic Interviewed

Birkirkara emerged as winners with a 2-1 score in the last match against Balzan. The latest acquisition for our team, Serbian goalkeeper Alexandar Canovic started for the first time with the first eleven. This week we decided to interview him to get to know more about him and his experience so far with our Club.

McHappy Day

This Saturday, 19th November, is McHappy Day at McDonald's in Malta. This day has now become a calendar event and McDonald's Malta will be playing its part, by raising funds for The Community Chest Fund. The management and crew from all 8 local restaurants of the chain will be organising fund-raising events on the day.
