Birkirkara beat Balzan in friendly match

In a friendly match played on Thursday evening, Birkirkara FC defeated Balzan FC with a 3-0 score, thanks to two first-half goals by Lucky Omeruo and Joseph Zerafa, before Rafael Ledesma sealed the issue early in the second-half.

Birkirkara FC will be involved in a friendly match this evening when they will face Balzan FC. The match will be played at the Sirens Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.

Club's Membership

Birkirkara FC would like to advise its supporters that those who would like to become registered members have the opportunity to do so next Sunday, 20 July at the Club' Bar at Valley Road, Birkirkara between 9.30 and 11:00. Also, those who have already paid their membership can collect their card on Sunday at the same time.

Holidays for the Birkirkara FC Women's Team are now over as this evening, under the guidance of Mr. Johann Scicluna, the squad will start their preparations for the 2014-2015 season.

Rachel Cuschieri on trial in Cyprus

Birkirkara FC Women's Team player, Rachel Cuschieri is currently having a trial with a club in Cyprus, Apollon Ladies FC. Rachel left Malta on Thursday afternoon and she will be back on Monday afternoon.

Meetings for U15 and U17 players and parents

Birkirkara FC Academy will be organising meetings for the players and parents of Under-17's and for Under-15's groups, in view that the pre-season for these two groups will start on Wednesday 18 July.

After-match Press Conference

In the press conference after the second leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, where Diosgyor VTK defeated Birkirkara with a 4-1 score, Birkirkara's Head Coach, Mr. Paul Zammit said that every time that Birkirkara went close to score, they conceded the goal.

Three goals inside the second half dashed Birkirkara's hopes of reaching the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. On Thursday evening, Diosgyor VTK defeated Birkirkara with a 4-1 score, to advance to the next round with a 6-2 aggregate score.

Tickets for adults cost €25.00, while for children under 12 the price is of €1.00.
