Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team fell to their second defeat in three matches in the Youths League Section A, when on Thursday evening a controversial sending off proved to be costly as they fell for a 5-0 defeat against Hibernians FC.

Birkirkara continued to disappoint, and show their weaknesses which they have been enduring this season, when their Premier League campaign took another twist to the worse as they suffered a surprising 4'3 defeat by two late goals which handed the three points to Pieta Hotspurs.

Birkirkara beat San Gwann in friendly match

Birkirkara FC registered a 4-0 victory thanks to two goals in each half to beat the First Division Side San Gwann in a friendly match played on Saturday afternoon, at the Mgarr Grounds. Vyacheslav Shevchenko, Rafael Ledesma, Shola Shodiya and Gareth Sciberras were the scorers for the Stripes.
