Surprise visit to a Birkirkara die-hard

A selection of players, lead by coach Paul Zammit and Vice President John Borg paid a surprise visit to a Birkirkara family this afternoon. Ardent Birkirkara supporter Louis Grech was seriously injured some months back after a bad work related accident, therefore confined to his home and unable to be present for Birkirkara FC matches.

Birkirkara FC launches 2010 calendar

Birkirkara have launched the calendar for the upcoming year 2010, in a special activity organized on the 28th of this month.

Cilia called-up with the National team

On the day he was voted as the best player for the first round by the Birkirkara Ultras 1997, Trevor Cilia has been called-up by National team and ex-Birkirkara FC manager, Mr.John Buttigieg to join the current list of players featuring in the Maltese side.

19th Christmas Tournament edition

The Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery is once again organising the Christmas Football Tournament between the 26th and the 30th December. This is the 19th year that the Birkirkara Youth Nursery is organising such a tournament which has now established itself as one of the most important tournaments in youth football. The draws of the 19th Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery Christmas Tournament were held at the nursery premises on Wednesday 16th December 2009.

Birkirkara FC in conjunction with the Stripes Supporters' Club, will be launching the brand new 2010 calendar at the McDonald's restaurant on Monday the 28th of December. On this same date we will also be commemorating the first anniversary since the re-opening of this beloved website following a huge revamp that took place in both its design and content.

I thought this is a very good time to write my first message to our supporters. The first reason is that we are at the end of the first round of our participation in the Premier league. The second reason is that this is the festive period when we give greetings to each other.

Birkirkara FC raises money for charity

In a fund raising match organized by famous television programme, Replay, played on Tuesday, the Birkirkara FC committee, technical staff, players and nursery collected the handsome sum of 600 euros which were donated to 'l-iStrina 2009' organized by the Community Chest Fund.

Birkirkara trash Pieta' H. in friendly

By fielding exactly eleven players, due the huge list of injured players (most of who should be fit for the upcoming few matches), Birkirkara have managed to beat Pieta' H. with an incredible 8-0 score line.
