Ryan Scicluna signs five year contract

Ryan Scicluna has signed his first professional contract with our Club as today he agreed on a five year deal, which means till the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Four Birkirkara players called with National Team

Four Birkirkara players were called to form part of the National Team A for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. These four players are goalkeeper Reuben Gauci and the three midfielders Paul Fenech, Gareth Sciberras and Shaun Bajada.

Spanish defender joins squad on trial

Today, a 26 year old Spanish defender, Alejandro Mendoza Corujo, known as Moreno, arrived in Malta for a 15 day trial with the Club. He has played for Atletico Granadilla, U.B. Conquense and Tenerife, in Spain. He will join the squad for today's training session at Mgarr Ground, starting at 18:30.

First Team's Schedule for the week

Birkirkara will this week be involved in another intensive week where they will be involved in the semi-finals of the AME Cup. Depending on the outcome, they will then take part in the final or in a match to determine the third and fourth place of the same competition.

Birkirkara face Rabat in AME Cup

Birkirkara need only a draw to be declared the winners of Group A when this evening they will face Rabat Ajax in their third match of the AME Cup. However they are certain of a spot in the semi-finals, as two teams from each group will go through, and Birkirkara can only finish in the first two sports.

Supporters Sub-Committee thanks supporters and sponsors

Birkirkara FC Supporters' Sub-committee would like to thank all the supporters, players, technical staff members and their sponsors for the barbeque which was held last Friday at the Club's house. The barbeque was a huge success thanks to all of these.

Nursery BBQ Gathering

The Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery is delighted to be organising a BBQ gathering at the Infetti Training Grounds on Tuesday 7th August at 7:30pm. The event will be open to both parents and their children affiliated with the nursery and others who wish to join our nursery as from this season. It is the first event we have on the list and a good chance to meet more people and to socialise!

Alan Tabone loaned to Zebbug FC

Birkirkara FC and Zebbug Rangers FC have agreed on the transfer of Alan Tabone on a loan basis. Zebbug Rangers are in the process of building a very strong squad for the 2nd Division.
