Birkirkara against Khazar Lankaran in friendly match

As part of the preparation for the UEFA Champions League matches, Birkirkara will be involved in a friendly match this Saturday 8th July against the Azerbaijan's side, Khazar Lankaran FC. The match will be played at the Sirens Stadium and will kick off at 19:00.

Stripes beat Hibernians with a goal in each half

A goal in each half saw Birkirkara ending their Euro Cup Friendly Tournament on a fine note as the Champions defeated Hibernians with a 2-0 score.

Women's Team Dinner

Birkirkara FC would like to invite all the supporters to a pig-on-a-spit dinner on Friday, 5 July (and not Saturday 6 as announced previously) at the Old Railway Station, Birkirkara at 19:30.

Nursery Extra Training in June

For the first time the Birkirkara FC Nursery has prolonged the season by another month to conduct extra training sessions, once weekly on specific topics in the month of June.

Birkirkara to face NK Maribor in Champion's League

Maltese Champions Birkirkara FC will face NK Maribor from Slovenia in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The draws were made at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, by UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino and UEFA competitions director Giorgio Marchetti. Our Club was represented by the Club's President, Mr. Joe Zammit, and Vice-president Dr. Adrian Delia.

Stripes suffer second defeat

Yesterday evening Birkirkara suffered their second defeat in the Euro Cup friendly tournament, this time against Valletta. Despite outclassing the Citizens, especially in the first half, it was the latter who scored the winning goal ten minutes from the end to hand Valletta their first victory and the Stripes their second consecutive defeat.

Birkirkara and Valletta seek first win in Euro Cup

Birkirkara will be involved in the second match of the Euro Cup Friendly Tournament this evening when the present Champions will face arch rivals Valletta.

Club Membership for Season 2013-2014

As announced previously, Birkirkara FC is accepting applications for membership to the Club for Season 2013-14.

Birkirkara Football Summer School

The Birkirkara Football Summer School is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game to beginners, as well as the experienced varsity athlete looking to hone skills for the coming season. Athletes will be placed in small groups according to age. Each athlete will work with one of Birkirkara FC Academy's football coaches, who will be recruited for next season within the same Academy. Coaches will help to improve each athlete's ability. The coaches are committed to a planned program that will focus on development and fun.

Club Officials for Season 2013-14

During the first committee meeting of Birkirkara Football Club for Season 2013-14 held last Tuesday, the Club officials were appointed for the next season. The Club officials were retained as per previous season, with the only change being that Mr. Jonathan Friggieri took over the role of Assistant Secretary from Mr. Joseph Licari.
