Training Schedule for the week

Last week Birkirkara played a friendly match against Marsaxlokk and they emerged as winners with a score of 3-2. This week Birkirkara will be involved in no less than three matches as they will be taking part in the Gammari' Muscat Mosta Tournament.

Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery - Call for Applications

Birkirkara F.C. Youth Nursery would like to inform the general public that it is accepting applications from boys and girls between the age of 4 (born in 2007) and 15 (born in 1996) who are interested in joining the nursery from the coming season. Application forms can be collected from the Infetti Training Grounds, B. Bontadini Street, Birkirkara (opposite to the St Theresa Girls' Junior Lyceum). Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery appointed Mr Charles Sciberras as Technical Advisor and Mr Franco Agius as Nursery Head Coach for the season 2011/12.

BOV National League Fixtures 2011-2012

The fixtures for the BOV National Football League for the football season 2011-2012 were drawn during a press conference at Bank of Valletta's Head Office in Santa Venera. Bank of Valletta Chief Officer Victor Denaro assisted MFA CEO Bjorn Vassallo in the drawing of fixtures for all division of the BOV National Football Leagues.

Team's timetable for this week

Last week the squad ended their training schedule with a physical training session at Ghajn Tuffieha with the aim to improve their fitness. This week the squad will have a busy week with the two highlights of the week being on Wednesday and on Friday.

Birkirkara to take part in the 'Gammari' Muscat' Mosta Tournament

Birkirkara will be taking part in 'Gammari' Muscat' Mosta Tournament. The other participants will be the hosts Mosta, current holders Tarxien Rainbows and Vittoriosa Stars. The tournament will be held on 25, 27 and 29 July. All matches will be played at the Mosta Grounds and there will be two matches on each of the three days. The first match will start at 18:45 and the second one at 20:45.

Team's schedule for the week

Last week Birkirkara registered a 1-1 draw in Albania in the UEFA Europa League. This was not enough for Birkirkara to qualify as they were eliminated with an aggregate of 2-1. This week the squad will have no involvements.

Birkirkara were eliminated from the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League with heads held high. Yesterday evening Birkirkara registered a 1-1 draw in Albania, which was not enough to qualify as F.K. Vllaznia went through with a 2-1 aggregate.

This evening Birkirkara will be facing a difficult task as they will be involved in the away leg of the Europa League First Qualifying Round, after losing the home leg with a solitary goal.

Last Thursday Birkirkara suffered a 1-0 loss in the home leg of the Europa League First Qualifying Round. This week they will be involved in the away leg and 'The Stripes' will definitely have a difficult task to come back from the one goal disadvantage.
