Raffle winner

During last Thursday's Annual General Meeting, a draw was made from the raffle tickets sold with the match tickets of the decider. As announced previously, the lucky winner will travel with the team and Birkirkara FC contingent to the away match of the Champions League.

Champions Birkirkara began their Euro Cup friendly tournament commitments with a 3-1 defeat to Sliema Wanderers as a first half goal was cancelled by a fine comeback by the Wanderers who registered their first win in the competition.

Paul Fenech MFA Footballer of the Year

Last night Birkirkara midfielder Paul Fenech crowned a superb season when he won the MFA Footballer of the Year award, for the first time in his career. Head Coach Mr. Paul Zammit was awarded as the best Coach of the Year, and Rowen Muscat won the Goal of the Year award during the MFA Awards 2013. The awards were presented on Friday night at the MFCC at Ta' Qali.

Club President's address during the AGM 2013

It is a big honour for me to address this meeting as the president of the Champions of Malta, not only of the Men but also of the Women's league. It is a dream of every president that runs a Club, to win the biggest local honour and although I already formed part of the administration that won previous Championships, I must admit that this was the most memorable.

Yesterday evening Birkirkara FC held its Annual General Meeting at the Club's house on top of the Mc Donald's, for the season 2012-13.

Mr. Paul Zammit rewarded for his success

Nine Birkirkara players in Malta's provisional squads

Nine Birkirkara players, six in the senior team and three in the Under 21's team were named in the provisional squads, by Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin and Under 21 Coach Mr. Ray Farrugia, for Malta's matches that will be played on Thursday and on Friday respectively.

MFA Awards 2013 finalists

The Malta Football Association announced the finalists for the MFA Awards 2013. Seven Birkirkara players, six from the seniors' team and one from the Women's Team are among the finalists for three different awards.

Paul Zammit extends his stay
