Stripes eliminate Valletta to advance in Youths' Knock Out

A goal by Brandon Attard in the extra time period enabled Birkirkara to move to a further round in the Youths' Knockout when in a heart-throbbing match, the Stripes made a fine comeback to turn the match around to defeat Valletta by the odd-goal in three.

Under 15s Do The Double On Pembroke

Birkirkara Under 15s managed to beat Pembroke Athleta for the second time in this season's campaign, this time with a less pronounced 4-2 scoreline when compared to the first round 7-1 drubbing. Thanks to this win, the Stripes consolidated the second place in the table, which is of utmost importance in view of the promotion ambitions.

High flying Stripes move first

High flying Birkirkara continued to show their true potential as they kept improving their form when in a one-sided match, they outclassed Gozo with a 6-0 score. The Stripes are now joint-leaders of the BOV Women's First Division League, together with Mosta. Mosta were defeated by Hibernians with the winning goal arriving mid-way in the second half thanks to a penalty.

Under 17s Re-discover Winning Formula

Following a winless run of four matches where only one point was obtained, Birkirkara Under 17s re-discovered their winning formula when beating Mosta by the odd goal in three. This win was adamant for the Stripes, as while giving them three valuable points which kept them with a chance of obtaining a top four finish, it was also a morale boost in view of the upcoming matches.

Under 16's girls register third consecutive victory

Birkirkara Under 16's Girls registered their third consecutive victory and made sure that they will be ending their season at least in the third place after they defeated Kirkop United with a 4-0 score.

After the Maltese National Team's Head Coach Mr. Pietro Ghedin named the provisional squads for the matches against Bulgiaria and Italy, five Birkirkara players were called to the final eighteen-man squad for the match against Bulgaria.
