Jonathan Maciel to play for Birkirkara FC

Brazilian central defender Jonathan Maciel is the latest player to sign for our Club, as a few moments ago he put pen to paper for a one year deal.

Ini Akpan moves to Birkirkara FC

Birkirkara FC and Lija Athletic FC have reached an agreement over the permanent transfer of goalkeeper Ini Akpan. The Nigerian born, neutralised Maltese goalkeeper signed a five-year contract with our Club. Ini Akpan is not a new face for Birkirkara FC as last season he enjoyed a one-year loan spell with our Club. Ini made his first appearance with the Stripes in the AME Cup where he was on an informal loan from Lija Athletic, and then returned to his Club.

Club to acquire new property

Club's President Mr. Joseph Zammit, Secretary Mr. Jason Degaura, and Treasurer Mr. Ivan Mizzi have just signed a promise of sale agreement to acquire the property at 219, Valley Road in Birkirkara. This property is next door to the Club's existing property, known as the “Old Clubhouse”.

Under 15 pre-season kicks off

Yesterday the Under 15's kicked off their pre-season in preparation of the 2013/14 season. The team is under the helm of Coach, Mr. John Vella McIntyre and Assistant Coach, Mr. David Zammit.

Fine win for the young stripes in the Costa Blanca Cup

Goals by Karl Caruana and Ayrton Attard guided Birkirkara Under 13 team to a 2 - 0 victory over worthy Spanish opponents, Villajoyosa C.F.

Barbeque on 26 July

Birkirkara FC's Supporters sub-committee is organising a barbeque on Friday 26 July at 19:30, on the roof of the Clubhouse, at Valley Road, Birkirkara. Singer and guitarist Ozzy Lino will provide entertainment on the night.
